Course Description​

The PADI Seal Team program teaches responsibility and respect for the aquatic realm. It’s broken into two parts.

Part One
AquaMissions 1 - 5

​

Part one covers basic scuba diving skills, such as breathing underwater, clearing a mask of water, recovering a regulator, proper finning techniques in your scuba gear, and experiencing the sensation of being weightless (neutral buoyancy).
Complete these AquaMissions and become a PADI Seal Team Member! (Complete with certificate). The experience will also prepare your diver for the PADI Open Water Diver course when they are old enough to participate in the course.

Part Two
10 Specialty AquaMissions

Participate in adventures like creature identification, search and recovery, skin diving and underwater photography (a favorite of all our campers). Complete all 10 AquaMissions, and become a PADI Master Seal Team Member – joining an elite group of young scuba divers.

Repeat Seal Teamers are welcome - our PADI professionals will help them build on their experience working towards increased proficiency with scuba skills.

What is included?

• Instruction materials - PADI Seal Team Pack with DVD & Logbook

• Rental of a scuba kit - BCD, Regulator, Tank, Weights

• PADI Seal Team Membership Card (if applicable)

What is not included?

​​

• All students must have an approved tempered glass mask, fins, and snorkel. 

• Don't buy your gear online! Please buy at Dive World Austin where we will give your camper a custom fitting to ensure success in the pool. Plus you get a 10% discount as a student so our prices beat online prices - and you'll be supporting a local Austin business!

Cancelation Policy

• There is a $150 non-refundable registration fee included in the course price. This can only be refunded if you cancel within 48 hours of registration (for registrations before April 15, 2025).  

• Cancelations before March 15, 2025 will receive a refund minus the $150 registration fee.

• Cancelations between March 15, 2025 - April 14, 2025 will receive a 50% refund minus the $150 registration fee.

• No refunds will be given for cancelations on or after April 15, 2025. 

• Any refunds will also deduct a 3% credit card transaction fee
