What is Kids Camp?
Kids Scuba Camp at Dive World Austin is a week of fun-filled activities in and out of the pool that introduces basic scuba diving skills along with specialty adventures using the PADI Seal Team program. These experiences are conducted in our indoor heated pool. This is NOT a Scuba Certification.

I’m Already a PADI Seal, Master Seal, or Jr. Open water Diver, Can I Still Attend?
YES - PADI Seal Team Members and Jr Divers will work towards their Master Seal Team membership and Master Seals review the skills and specialties they have previously completed. (Everyone has a favorite!) Master Seal includes adventures like creature identification, search and recovery diving, and night diving. Upon completion of all 10 specialty “AquaMissisions” campers receive their Master Seal Team member card, completion certificate, and pin.

What does my kid need?
All students must have approved tempered mask, fin, snorkel, swimsuit, towel, dry clothes, lunch, snacks, and water bottle.
What age group is Kids Camp for?
Kids scuba camp is for students ages 8-11.
Once kids are 10 years old, they can sign up for an Open Water Course afterward!

What is Teen Scuba Camp?
Teen Scuba Camp is a week of fun-filled activities both in and out of the pool and at Lake Travis. Students work through the basics of scuba diving using the PADI Open Water Diver course to achieve scuba certification. This certification is valid for life. During camp, students learn about conservation and becoming environmentally-conscious divers and will have opportunities to earn additional specialties!

What is included?

Basic scuba equipment including a regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), weights, scuba cylinders

Wetsuits, hoods, and gloves are provided depending on the season and water temperature.
What is not included?

Entrance Fee to Windy Point Scuba Park - $15 per person, per day of Open Water Certification Dives (2 days)

You need to provide your own mask (tempered glass), fins, boots, and snorkel ( 10% in-store student discount available)
Is Transportation to and from the lake included?
No.
Where can we get the required equipment!?
All camp participants receive a 10% in-store discount from the time of registration through the completion of camp. Campers must have a mask, fins, boots, and snorkel PRIOR to the start of camp!
