Offering up to 5 guided boat dives per day, all located less than 10 minutes by boat from the resort, you can experience the incredible biodiversity of Puerto Galera, a designated UNESCO ‘Man and Biosphere Reserve’ since 1973, home to some of the most diverse coral reef diving in the Coral Triangle.

Atlantis Dumaguete Resort

While better known as Atlantis Dumaguete, the resort is actually a part of the municipality of Dauin (pronounced Da-win), the epicenter of Dumaguete’s dive scene. With its black volcanic sand, Dauin is known as the Frogfish capital of the Philippines and a unique destination for critter diving.  Atlantis Dumaguete is located minutes away from over 20 local dive spots, most of which are marine protected areas, and offers day trips to the nearby Apo Island, Siquijor, and snorkeling with the Whale Sharks in Oslob.

This beachfront, dedicated dive resort features 44 rooms, built around a lush tropical garden, and a waterfront restaurant. We offer up to 5 guided boat dives per day, a spacious camera room, a pool, and a spa, everything to create a dive vacation of a lifetime!

Diveshop Services

This state-of-the-art dive facility supports all levels of recreational divers, Nitrox, rebreather, and technical diving. They have some of the best spotters in the Philippines!  

Camera Facilities

Dumaguete Resort has one of the most spacious camera facilities you will find in any dive resort worldwide. There are 21 individual cubbyholes for equipment storage, a work surface 80cm deep, a total length of nearly 14m, and floor space of over 21 square meters. Five air guns are positioned around the room, 16 sets of power sockets in both 220 and 110 volts, paper towel dispensers for cleaning O-Rings, a shelf running the length of the work surface for battery chargers, and eight fluorescent under-shelf lights for additional illumination during the all-important O-Ring check. The room is climate-controlled for comfortable working conditions and features a 42-inch HD flat-screen TV mounted on the wall with HDMI and USB connections. Guests can now show off their photos and videos on the big screen at the end of a day's great diving!
